Norwegian 4x4 Coach · Effective 22 June 2026
Norwegian 4x4 Coach ("the app") is designed to respect your privacy. The app does not collect, store off your device, or transmit any personal data. It contains no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking, and it does not communicate with any server.
If you connect a Bluetooth heart-rate sensor, the app reads your heart rate over Bluetooth and uses it only on your device, in real time, to coach your workout. The app never sends your heart rate anywhere.
When you complete a workout, the app saves that session's raw data (your heart-rate samples over time, the phase and target zone at each point, and the session's settings) locally on your device. Only the most recent session is kept: each new session overwrites the previous one, and it is removed if you delete the app.
You can export this session yourself using the standard iOS share sheet (for example, to email it to yourself, save it to Files, or open it in another app). The data leaves your device only when you choose to share it; the app never transmits it on its own.
The app requests Bluetooth permission solely to connect to your heart-rate sensor. It does not use Bluetooth for any other purpose.
Your preferences (such as maximum heart rate, interval settings, and an optional saved sensor identifier) are stored locally on your device using the system's standard settings storage. They remain on your device and are removed if you delete the app.
The app is a general fitness tool and is not directed at children. It collects no data from anyone.
